What is coworking?

Coworking is about working in an energizing, productive workplace, while collaborating with others to achieve something far greater than you could by working alone.

How will coworking benefit my business?

The isolation of the kitchen table and the distractions of the coffee shop have a negative impact on the productivity of the small business owner. Industry research and comments all over the Internet by coworkers overwhelmingly say that coworkers are more creative, more productive, more confident, and earn more than they did prior to coworking. Try it and see if it works for you. Bet it will.

How much does coworking at Suite Spotte cost?

Suite Spotte offers 1-day, 10-day, and full month memberships with shared space and dedicated space options, priced as low as $10/day…plus coffee and tea are free!

Where are you located?

Suite Spotte is located at 21 S. La Grange Road, Suite 200 (2nd floor) in award-winning downtown La Grange, just 15 miles west of Chicago. We’re right down the street from the La Grange Road Metra Station and steps away from restaurants, shops, services, and free street or Village lot parking. Our second location will open in spring 2017 at 7339 West Madison Street in downtown Forest Park, Illinois.

What are your hours?

We’re open Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. After 30 days and with member support, members may be eligible for 24/7/365 access to Suite Spotte.

Can I stop by to see Suite Spotte?

Tours of Suite Spotte must be scheduled in advance. It’s easy to Book a tour.

What should I bring with me?

Bring whatever you would bring to the coffee shop or wherever else you work remotely…laptop, mobile phone, pens, etc. Whatever you bring with you, plan to take with you when you leave for the day. If you have dedicated workstation membership (Resident Spotter), you will have a locked pedestal file to keep your goodies.

Can I bring my Kids? Pets?

While we love kids, and I’m sure your pets are adorable too, Suite Spotte’s work environment isn’t set up to accommodate either. So please don’t bring your kids or your pets with you to Suite Spotte.

Can I bring a guest for the day?

Unless guests are participants in a meeting you are hosting in the conference or project meeting room, all guests are required to purchase a day-pass. Participants in a conference room meeting may stay only for the duration of the meeting.

Sometimes I really need to concentrate with no distraction. Is that possible at Suite Spotte?

We’re all about building a collaborative community with people easily interacting with one another. That’s a key element of coworking.

However, we also know that sometimes you have to be heads down working. For those occasions,  members can use their monthly allotted meeting room hours for complete focus. No phone, no chatting, shhhhhhhhh.

What if I make a lot of phone calls for my business?

We expect our guests and members to use common courtesy when talking on the phone. Generally if your call is going to be longer than 5 minutes or if it is private, we have 2 private phone booths and a phone room available for your use. All are on a first-come, first-served basis.  This is not a mini-private office, so please no squatters.

However, If your business requires that you have the phone attached to your ear all day making calls non-stop, a shared workspace may not be the best place for you; unless you choose to book one of the meeting rooms for a half-day, or full-day.

How do I become a Suite Spotte member?

If you have not toured Suite Spotte, we strongly suggest you book a tour first. Then complete our membership application and you’ll hear from us within 48 hours.

I could use help growing my business. Any help available at Suite Spotte?

Sue Reardon, co-founder of Suite Spotte, is a certified business coach. She runs coaching workshops and masterminds at Suite Spotte. Members get special pricing on her coaching services. Sue also offers on-demand, online coaching free to Suite Spotte members. Email Sue for more info.

You may get ideas and resources from fellow Suite Spotters. Don’t be afraid to ask. That’s what community is all about.

I just need to rent a meeting room for a conference? Can I do that?

Sure. Our conference room and project meeting rooms are available for rental by non-Suite Spotte members Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Check availability and book the room online. Conference room rates include use of our video conferencing and smart TV and each of our meeting rooms are equipped with a white board.

Don’t forget, Suite Spotte members who host a meeting in our conference room get special pricing. Our conference room and project meeting rooms must be booked in advance. No squatters, please 🙂
